Parent/Guardian Information

Please make note of the important below making sure the camp experience is a FUN one.

Drop-off and pickup will be expected 15-20 minutes prior to and after camp hours

Campers must be signed “In” AND “Out” daily

ALL parents/guardians must sign “Release and Hold Harmless” agreement given at check-in

Ensure your camper brings the following items daily to camp

  • racquets (provided upon request)
  • sun screen
  • thermos w/ice and water
  • sports drink (Gatorade, Powerade, Vitamin Water, etc)
  • sack lunch OR $ to purchase lunch/snacks
  • small amount of healthy snacks
  • sweat towel
  • iced frog towel in ziplock bag
  • hat/sun visor
  • comfortable fitting and light colored clothing
  • proper footwear/court shoes

Overview

Pride Tennis Academy is a key component of the teaching team at Sugar Creek Tennis Center, focused on helping each player become a well-rounded all-court player and person. Our summer camp aims to help campers reach their full potential in the physical, mental, and social areas through a variety of activities both on and off the court.

  •  Youth ages 7 -18 /All skill levels (1st timer, beginner, intermediate, advance, high-performance)
  •  Instruction is offered in a fun yet competitive positive group environment
  • Tennis rules/etiquette, positioning, developing sound tennis “FUN”damentals will be the focal point for the 1st timer/beginner player
  •  Strategy, physical conditioning, shot selection and stroke improvement will be emphasized for the intermediate/advance/high-performance player
  •  Campers will have the opportunity to develop new strategies and skills while participating in fun games, drills and supervised match play
  • Certified PTR, USPTA, and Collegiate & High Performance Player Instructors 

Release and Hold Harmless and Emergency Medical Treatment Agreement
The undersigned hereby forever releases, discharges, and covenants to hold harmless Pride Tennis Academy, and any other person, firm, corporation, charged or chargeable with responsibilities or liability, their heirs, administrators, executors, successors, and assignees from any and all claims, demands, damages, of any kind sustained, or that may hereafter be sustained, arising out of the matters described herein or in consequence of the participation in the recreational program sponsored by Pride Tennis Academy,  and/or Sugar Creek Tennis Center. The undersigned hereby bind their heirs, administrators, executors, and successors.

Further agreement shall apply to all unknown and unanticipated injuries and damages directly or indirectly resulting herefrom.
